Semax + Selank
Also known as: Semax/Selank
Pre-mixed blend of Semax (an ACTH(4-10) analog) and Selank (a heptapeptide tuftsin analog), both developed at the Russian Institute of Molecular Genetics. The individual compounds are registered as prescription drugs in Russia (intranasal); neither is FDA- or EMA-approved. The blend itself is NOT clinically validated — no controlled trial has tested Semax and Selank co-administered.

Studying the Toxic Effects of Some Biologically Active Peptides on the Model of Mouse Embryonic Stem Cells
We studied the effects of peptide drugs (HLDF-6, PGP, RPGP, and PGLP) and peptide pharmaceutical products (Semax, Selank, and thyroliberin) on proliferation and survival of mouse embryonic stem cells and their derivatives. Differentiation of mouse embryonic stem cells into neuronal precursors was evaluated.

Natural and hybrid ("chimeric") stable regulatory glyproline peptides
The present concept of relative instability of regulatory peptides (RPs) in organisms must be amended. The recently characterized family of glyprolines and some other prolyl-glycyl-proline (PGP)-containing oligopeptides show the stability quite comparable with those of major pharmacological preparations.
